[BUG] Can't Establish a Routing Path #2975

Is there an existing issue for this?

Current Behavior

When I download Session (for Linux as an Appimage) and login the Path indicator stays red. I appears that the application can't establish a routing path/connection to Lokinet nodes. I click on the Path indictor, from the loading green bubble gif, I can clearly see it appears to be trying to connect but is unable to.

I am connected to the internet through Tor on Tails 5.19.

Everything else in the application looks to be working correctly.

My session bebug log is below.

Operating System: Linux 6.1.0-13-amd64 linux Commit Hash: ca6fbcbc44c97a72755f68604eeec204e0acd3bd Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Session/1.11.4 Chrome/114.0.5735.289 Electron/25.8.4 Safari/537.36 node/18.15.0 env/production INFO [timestamp redacted] Loaded this list of log files from logPath:

Expected Behavior

I expect that a user would be able to login and establish a routing path or in other words connect to the network which would make the Path indicator turn green and display path information confirming a valid routing path and good connection.

Steps To Reproduce

  1. Download the latest version of Session (v1.11.4) for Linux as an Appimage
  2. Login to Session
  3. Notice the Path indicator is always red and clicking on the indicator appears to show an attempted connection

Desktop Version

v1.11.4
