@ablack3 @catalamarti could you please review Chapter 2, which gives a general introduction to working with a cdm reference (note, at the moment cohort creation is currently a later chapter). As well as generally seeing if it makes sense and if there is anything you would add/ change, can you also please check that the code examples run for you?

I would include:

cdmFromTables and cdmFromFiles functions
summary instead of snapshot
cdmSourceType (and cdmSource?)
