Feature request: NPAPI stripped version. #225

As a programmer, I have a feature suggestion: Offer a version of this extension
that does not use NPAPI, even if certain features must be hidden or removed.
That way users can sync the extension, install it on chrome os, it may be less
likely to be flagged as a security risk, etc.

Depending on what features are retained, the trade off may be worthwhile to
many.

Notes: I may be willing to help implement this option if there is interest. I
will watch this issue. (personally, I most often use "reopen closed tab, clear
history, and mute all tabs" only. I'm not sure if those need NPAPI or not)

The one feature I need the most, is the "scroll mouse wheel on the tab strip to
switch tabs"

I often have multiple tabs open, and this has been the most efficent way for me
to move back and forth.

+1 On the request for mouse wheel tab scrolling. As of M32, there's no longer
any way to scroll tabs with a mouse wheel. Pig Toolbox (Super Gestures) was the
last saving grace but they are not going forward as this is obviously not
possible anymore.

Opera offers this. Firefox offers this.

Mousewheel tab-switching is a very convenient method of switching tabs. I
really hate to see it go.

The feature I like about Google Toolbox was that I could close a tab by
double-clicking on it, it would be nice to bring it back!

If Google could add "Scroll mouse wheel on the tab strip to switch tabs" as a
native feature to Chrome, it'd be perfect.

That's the one feature I actually used from Chrome Toolbox, and by the sounds
of it, I'm not the only one :(
