Converted from internal issue EXM-42833 Blog post about using editor variables in various places, maybe give some interesting examples.

Use cases for Oxygen editor variables:

Transformation scenarios - output folder, parameters, xpath_eval Code templates - selection, caret, xpath_eval New File templates Author operations - ask editor variable in operation parameters. Examples
