What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Go to a list for example the contact list or in settings and try to navigade
with up and down arrows.
2. Talkback keeps announcing how many items are showing on the screen for
example showing items 5 to 12 of 60.
3.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I understand that this feature is useful for people who use the touch screen
but for us who have phones with keyboards this information is not useful.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Latest talkback 3.3.0 on android 4.04 ice cream sandwich.
Please provide any additional information below.
I would like to suggest that we will have the ability to enable or disable the
showing items option with in settings. The keyboard user doesn't need to know
how many items are showing on the screen each time. The keyboard user in my
oppinion only needs to know the total items in the list for example list of 60
items and the current possition with in a list for example 20 of 60.
I understand that keyboard phones are decreasing but i believe that still a lot
of us are using them. And even on an only touch screen phone somebody could
connect a bluetooth keyboard so this feature could benefit a lot of users.
