Minor fixes and code coverage #16

This is just an initial change with minor fixes (like the config file path), and some more code coverage for us to feel safer about the package. It's an attempt for me to learn a bit more about how this project works.

I've taken the liverty to include the "coverage" package in the dev deps, and also "mock", so that we can improve tests a bit.

your changes modified the formatting of the README, but I'll take it. The code blocks had useless formatting anyway. :-)
