This is the consolidation of old/download-progress on top of the latest version of streamable.

Fixes the timeout bug that has been affecting larger files, and adds a "download-progress" event.

The autoStart flag included in the old branch is not part of this PR and will be brought back one way or another during the overhaul on the way to rev2.
