Prefix dial trouble #169

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
Problem/expected output:
It seems like the entered number has to match an entry in Area Database if the
prefix should be added. I would like to have an option to add the prefix no
matter what except when the prefix itself is already there (saved contact). As
I'm living in Sweden no database is available. Custom Area also only accept a
minimum 3 digits, two or even one might be preferable.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
0.2.3 beta3

Please provide any additional information below.

The main reason that I want this function is that I'm on a corporate cell phone
plan. where I have to dial 00 before each number to use an "external" line.
This is not a problem as far as I got the numbers stored with 00 in my
contacts. The problem occur when people not in my contacts dial and the
caller-id presents the number without 00 in the beginning. Re-dialing missed
calls is impossible as there is no edit before call. One more thing to make it
even more complex is that when texting (SMS/MMS) just the ordinary number
should be used without 00. So to have the numbers stored in my contact list
without the prefix and have kuaidial add it just before each call would be
awesome.

Got it working by manually editing the kuaidial.area.plist. Luckily all phone
numbers begin with 0 in Sweden, so I just added that Custom area.
