Same test performed on Linux Mint 20.3 and it works OK.
It seems to be a Debian 11 specific problem
Tested ok with Ubuntu 20.04 LTS
Tested NOT OK with Debian 10 (Buster)
So far, error is present in both Debian 10 and 11
Same problem in Debian 12.
Problem when trying to install Vidcutter on Debian GNU/Linux 11 (bullseye) :
