Can someone provide any information for showing classificaiton banners within OWF 7? The banner needs to resemble the banner in the image. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you talking about a OWF level banner, or banners for individual widgets? The classification level could be mixed based on the currently opened widgets right? Since OWF is iframes based, interrogating individual widgets to determine their highest classification, and then setting a global classification for the window, would break the sandboxing that is done by iframes. That is my view of it, someone can correct me if I an wrong, but it seems the correct strategy from an IA perspective is to classify the widgets separately.

Hi, thank you for your reply. I'm simply looking to display the banner at the OWF level. At this point, I'd like to display the banner any way I can. I've had no luck getting any banner to display.

https://www.owfgoss.org/jira/browse/OWF-7169?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel

The above link gives the following:

Example values for "property name="configMessage" value="UNCLASSIFIED//FOUO" value="UNCLASSIFIED//FOUO-LES" value="UNCLASSIFIED//FOUO" value="UNCLASSIFIED//DEA SENSITIVE" value="UNCLASSIFIED//LES" Example: value="UNCLASSIFIED//FOUO-LES" will show as "Dynamic Page - Highest Possible Classification is UNCLASSIFIED//FOR OFFICIAL USE ONLY/LAW ENFORCEMENT SENSITIVE"

In which config file do these values go?

Also, the below link provides a screenshot of exactly what I'm wanting to do. https://www.owfgoss.org/jira/browse/OWF-1129

Again, any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi,

Please keep in mind that OWF on this site is FOSS and is exposed to anyone who wants to look. As a FOSS software site, sensitive information should be avoided.

In the help bundle of OWF 7, there is an OWF Configuration Guide.pdf. Section 5 discusses configuring custom headers and footers.

Hope this helps. If you would like to email me directly for additional details, my address is bill.mohler@nextcentury.com.
