If you run into this issue a quick workaround would be to install xfcce4-screenshooter which seems to work. sudo yum install xfce4-screenshooter
There's this weird bug where taking a Screenie results in showing nothing but the Dock Container on a transparent background. Which sucks cause taking Screenies is pretty essential to everybody and his cat.
