The symbols feel overwhelmingy light to me, but I like the waves. :) @UriHerrera, thoughts?

I think the waves are set too high, the anchor and the gears could use a light blue gradient.

i was trying with the blue gradient but none like me, any recommendations for the gradient?

I use lighter colors and fix the waves, I added a gradient ffffff(top) and eeeeee(bottom) for the anchor and the gears

No other icon (even those made by us) have that shadow that makes logos, or objects look increasingly 3D, we do however use light colored gradients and the shadow below the logo/object.

I think it looks great, but, there's too much going on in it. The one above it would be fine.

@Deckon I saw in inkscape that symbols are not perfectly aligned to grid, which cases slight blurring in the icon. Can you fix that?

So, @Deckon what I suggest for the what we can use as another image viewer app icon is:

• the anchor has to go, for it implies plank too much
• make the sea bigger and perhaps add some vessel in it
• the sun needs better colours

@UriHerrera, thoughts?

Well first make a new issue with the preview so we can discuss it there and close this.

• Anchor must be gone.
• The eog icon has a sun, use it.
• I don't think the vessel is necessary, but there's a lot more sand than sea; m0ar sea and some subtle waves.
• Align everything.
