once the command gets to the end of the screen the prompt goes away #298

How to reproduce: 1) Type in a really long command (or just a bunch of gibberish) 2) When the command "skips" to the front of the prompt, press backspace.

The prompt disappears and only comes back if you press enter.

I use the ubuntu PPA

Sorry, not necessarily a duplicate. Sounds like you are describing a slightly different problem after all.

Here is a single short command:

But when you type more that goes past the window, this is an example of what is shown:

I can reproduce this behaviour in FinalTerm 0.1.
