Find Terminal Window (CTRL+P) #302

Open wolfv opened 10 years ago

wolfv commented 10 years ago

A cool feature might be to have a fuzzy terminal window finder like the fuzzy file finder in sublime text.

Would be useful e.g. for finding and placing the cursor in the window with the current running process (e.g. press ctrl+p and type "python" to go to the runnign python script etc.).

Hi Wolf, nice to see you here :)

You mean to search through the open panes (split / tabs)?

wolfv commented 10 years ago

Hi Philipp,

good to see you're on it, still :)

yes, like that. just selecting the pane/tab by terminal title (which usually is the working directory or the running command). I don't know how useful it would be, though ... would have to test if it really fulfills any need.
