game won't open

Your issue

When I launch fifa 22 from steam, origin opens, but when I click PLAY, origin opens and above it says "The Origin store is currently disabled because it was launched from another application. Restart Origin to access the store" but the game does not open

(I tried opening origini before opening the game but it didn't work) (I tried to open the game from origin but it didn't work) (I had EA App pre-installed on my computer, I installed origin, when I ran fifa 22, origin opened but the game did not open, I deleted EA App, I tried again, origin opened but again the game did not open)

I'm having this issue too. I'm tring to run Mass Effect Legendary Edition on the Steam Deck, and I added the following into the launch parameters in Steam so that the .dll would be loaded.

WINEDLLOVERRIDES="version=n,b" %command%

This opens up Origin successfully, and the .dll is working as it no longer pesters me to upgrade to the EA app. From there, nothing happens. I can't load the game.

I wonder if there's some sort of sync between Steam and Origin that makes this not work vs origin being used outside of Steam?
