So I'm trying to get Shenmue running nicely, but no matter what I do the image keeps squishing. Whether I'm in 4:3, or 16:9, 1080p or otherwise. I have no idea how to address the issue and I'm at my wits end. I've scoured the internet but haven't found a single solution that works for me. I hope I have all the info I need to get some help.

Windows 10 Intel Core i7 4770k @ 4.2 ghz 16 gb RAM Nvidia EVGA Titan 6gb 1080p HDMI Monitor
It starts fine, then after the end of the intro splash it smushes. Also the borders on the side flicker like crazy during startup.
This is how it was before and after I applied Reshade so I know its not that.
