I started a conversation here: https://github.com/rust-bitcoin/rust-bitcoin/discussions/1402 to move this crate under the Rust Bitcoin Organization. The minimum request to add this project to Rust Bitcoin is to add a basic CI setup script and a basic Readme.
I'm not sure how attribution should work and am open to suggestions. For now, I've added myself to the authors list since I've volunteered my time to maintain this and extend it under Rust Bitcoin.
