[BUG]Unable to delete or modify anything under the container catagory #29

CommentFixer commented 1 year ago

Module Version: v0.6.23

Describe the bug When trying to delete or modify a custom category errors appear. For deleting a category usually that has a predetermined weight to it, the message "inventory-plus | Can't delete the category 'Container', because it isn't empty" will appear, even when no items are in it. I believe using the predetermine weight of the category itself is the cause of this issue, so then comes the next error.

When trying to edit the category you are unable to do so and the error message which is posted below on the screen shot appears on the debug.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to 'Add custom category'
  2. Click on 'container on the drop box and create it'
  3. Scroll down to 'newly created container and try to delete it'
  4. See error

Expected behavior This is a new issue that appearing during the last two updates, just want to be able to delete and edit the category

Just ran into the same issue, but It's not a container category, it just set to "None". Seems Like I can't delete any categories at all. https://i.imgur.com/0OxD8lW.png

Ran into the same issue, and I found out it seems to be that when either a Feature or a Spell exists on the sheet you aren't able to delete any of their inventory categories.

I also have this same bug.

Edit: Find a fix. I'm now using v0.6.15 on Foundry v.10.291

Due to lack of free time I can't devote as much time to this module as I would like and since version 2.2.X of the system makes several changes including the integration of bags I don't know if it is worth fixing things up only to see everything destroyed again . I will definitely wait for the 2.2.0 version of the system before attempting the upgrade, my advice remains what I have already said to use the "Item Collection" module .

Gotta say I'm sad to hear that. My players don't like having to open each bag when looking for their items, and the Inventory+ categories work much nicer, particularly with TidySheet5e.

I also have this same bug.

Just wanted to bring attention to this since rolling back to 0.6.15 also solved this problem for me.
