I believe that these lines with only > at the end are intended to show the prompt that one sees in the terminal when following these instructions. It seems slightly better to me to leave them in, showing a reader what they should expect to see as they follow these steps.

Yes, that sounds totally reasonable. I reverted the changes made regarding the > in code snippet.

Kindly review the changes regarding the commented out command.
