Requesting help for pH7CMS (Error 500) #1047

Error 500

( note: I sent this message initially to Pierre-Henry, but maybe the e-mail was wrong:

I have an account in NameCheap and I installed your pH7Builder script after following the Softaculous instructions (and also https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ASnCJbj1cs instructions until the first minute of installation) but the link of my domain name does not open, saying: "This page isn’t working, my domain name at com is currently unable to handle this request. HTTP ERROR 500"

So, I contacted NameCheap and they said this: "It seems that the installation of the Website builder affected your php7CMS script. In case you do not wish to use Website builder and wish to use php7CMS script, please consider removing all the files from the public_html folder and reinstalling php7CMS script."

Thing that I did (by the way, I have re-installed several times), but the error continues forever, so in their last email they told me: "You can set up any index file in order for another one will be disabled for users. However, it seems you cannot hide both files simultaneously. As much as we would love to help you, unfortunately, this question lies in the area of web development. Assistance with such cases is beyond the scope of the support that we offer as a web-hosting company. It is necessary to have strong knowledge of PHP to tell what exactly is happening - a bug, some overly complex/long to execute a piece of code, or something else. You will need to contact a developer for further assistance." )

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to '...'
  2. Click on '....'
  3. Scroll down to '....'
  4. See error

Expected Behavior

(Any idea how can I solve this problem since they say that they can not do nothing for me and I havent find a developer/programmer anywhere near of me? Thank you in advance!)

Why the pH7CMS is marking that error 500? I know absolutely nothing of programming

I went to https://github.com/pH7Software/pH7-Social-Dating-CMS/issues/72 and I have no idea how to follow what Pierre-Henry suggested there with the the bugfixed: 857a897 , etc, etc.

It does not seems this issue have solution, because the author of the software is not attending to complains about this issue here

Wow, I thought my communications with a couple of the users who reply me were directly from my e-mail to their e-mail, not PUBLICLY to GitHub, where everyone reads our communications.

A question I should have asked months ago and I'm going to ask it directly to Mr. Pierre-Henry.

Why don't you help users like us who want to learn from you and have questions about the software you created yourself?

To solve this error, you need to know where the error in located in your website scripts... To do this you have to login into the control panel of your domain by using the access login of the domain sent to you by your web provider... When you are logged in to the CPANEL, click one CTRL + F then type ini which will display Multi PHP.INI... then enable the Display Error tab, Then click on Apply to save the changes. Reload the website address on your browser, Then error causing the HTTP Error 500 would be displayed on the screen. From there u can locate where the error on your script and correct it.
