water glitch #224

every time i shoot an energy weapon near water, the water's textures will disappear in a square formation can someone help me fix this because i use this mod a lot

1.7 is no longer supported

Tested and reproduced: Glitch happens only with optifine installed. Not only the water, but also all kinds of glass and light-emitting glass (like botania's managlass) seem to be affected.

All versions of optifine for 1.7 (from D3 to E7) seem to have the same problem: when mobs shoot, said blocks get a light update that dims their brightness for half a second. Annoying, but there's nothing you can do about it.
