Some more minor issues #280

Just tried out the latest build and I noticed another sprite oversight with the fists. If you press "reload" or "weapon special" to get into smash mode, there is blood on the fists during the animation as expected, assuming the player has already killed an enemy with their fists and not changed weapons. If you change into "rip and tear!" mode however, the fists lose the blood on them, and having played BD a decent amount, I can tell the animation is unchanged from BD (though I don't mind it much, since I know spriting is hard as heck)

Speaking of sprites, there has been a case where one of the former commandos holding an assault rifle disappeared shortly after their dying animations played, leaving only some intestine gibs but no corpse. Sadly I don't have any screenshots of this

Moving aside from that, there is another bug related to Doomguy's speech when picking up a chainsaw. If you pick up anything else that makes a sound (bonus items, ammo, weapons, etc.), he will immediately stop speaking. As far as I'm aware, this bug is present in builds as far back as mid to late 2018

Lastly, I've noticed imps being able to jump up and climb on ceilings that are ridiculously high, such as the soulsphere secret in E1M3. I'm not sure if this is supposed to happen or not, but I'm pretty sure even hell's finest imps would have to climb up the walls first in that case.

That's all I've got for now. If anyone needs screenshots or video, I'll try to get some ASAP

As for the switching to Rip and Tear mode, sprites with the blood on the hands have not been made yet. For Doomguy's voice when picking up a chainsaw, M1 Plasma Rifle or a BFG based weapon, that sadly cannot be fixed due to scripting limitations. As for the Imps, the climb and jumping are normal I think. Imps are going to be overhauled anyway, but not a top priority at this time.

@JMartinez9820 Sounds good. By the way, I've noticed that the movement is MUCH different compared to older builds. Are there any plans to add player movement options?

ZMovement Options (the player movement options) are inside Options (Options/Project Brutality - ZMove Options). If you have more questions, feel free to join the Discord server here.
