MySQL (or soon hopefully MariaDB) is everywhere but PostgreSQL has its place in the open source community, thus it should be used at least in one project, so that:

there will be overhead of setting it up
any server running project needs to have it
satisfied the lead of this project so that he (me) has proof of using this.

Gotta find a free service where data can be stored and based on their features, decide what kind of database it possibly is. Most likely it will not even show the database type, since all communication would be via REST API.
