Just list down how many business are relying on click house.
Can you make plugin which stops everyone from stopping click house?
We use russian tech but we don't let russians to use our website.
This company is doing it for cheap advertisement/publicity. They're just milking this conflict and leveraging it for their own advantage. If they were really that generous/sympathetic then not just Redirect Russia but they would have published Redirect Israel, Redirect USA, Redirect EU years ago already.
This has been brought up before, and I understand where you're coming from. I'll keep this issue open so we can engage in healthy discussion, but here's some excerpts from people's responses on Product Hunt:
"The only real chance to stop the war is for someone to overthrow the mad aggressor - it will be either someone in his inner circle or the Russian people. But you might be surprised to learn that 60% of population in Russia directly supports the war, so it is OK if they have to feel a bit uncomfortable. Everybody in Russia should absolutely be targeted with sanctions and feel the urgency to act until this stops."
"Unless there’s a button that Ukrainians can click to prevent a rocket strike on their apartment building, there shouldn’t be any button to click through this block. As someone who has had to flee Ukraine and has friends and family with missiles striking in their neighborhood, I can assure you that the inconvenience of having a service blocked pales in comparison to the fear I hear in people’s voices and messages from Ukraine."
"The world need Russian citizens to drop what they are doing right now and get rid of Putin. It's that simple. Putin is destroying a country in front of our eyes, killing thousands of people in the process. What is hard to understand?"
On Redirect Russia, we've added information in both English and Russian -- especially links to places where ordinary Russians can find out information about what's really happening in Ukraine (minus the propaganda) and what they can do to help.

This is an ongoing conflict. Every single bit of information we as common folk get is propaganda. There aren't any trusted "unbiased sources".
Maybe once the dust settles and information gets leaked from both sides we may know what were the intentions of both sides in this conflict (eg: Why did Ukraine violate the Minsk agreements/Why did Russia launch a full on invasion on foreign land, etc.), and then we may decide on how to interpret said information.
The existence of this repository is also biased as shown by @Suleman-Elahi. Everyone have their own biases and those biases choose what to do with the information we get.
The only "trusted and unbiased" fact is that in both countries the working class didn't want the war. This only affects common folk that had nothing to do with the war.
Why didn't you care about Israel bombing elementary schools in Palestine? The USA annihilating entire nations and regions of land in Iraq, Libya and Afghanistan?
This is doing exactly what the Russian state is trying to do- censor people.
That's not the Russian state. That is the tiny, elite group of people that is responsible for the crimes mentioned above (and also both World Wars).

Which information? That rich bankers want Europeans to slaughter each other for no real reason? Just like in the World Wars? What is the reason for this "conflict"? And don't give me "Oh, Putin is a dictator gone mad!". He hasn't been making his own decisions for at least 10 years.

That is true, but that wasn't the point. It's not about him being biased, it's in which direction and how it is being expressed. Just acting like this helps anyone in either Russia or Ukraine is delusional and absolutely disgusting. You're making it worse, if anything.
Russia and it's people are not the aggressor. The people that have been controlling Russia for over a century are, Putin is just their current puppet. That being said, I don't side with anyone in this conflict, but the European people and the sovereignty of each of their nations.
This company is doing it for cheap advertisement/publicity. – @Suleman-Elahi
I can say with certainty that this is not the case. My cofounder @carlobadini has family in Ukraine and came up with this idea as a useful tool to provide information. If you read about Pabio, you'll see that we provide rental furniture with interior design in Switzerland and Germany; we don't need engagement in the developer community for our business, so it doesn't make sense for us to do this for "cheap advertisement/publicity".
I have pinned this issue 📌 for this repository so people who come here can see it; like I said before, always happy to engage in constructive discussion.
Instead of "error style message" rather redirect or include news from some democratic sources, like BBC or russian alternative site Nostojascheya Vrema ( https://www.currenttime.tv/ ) - use this not to stupidly block content, but rather to educate users. It would be better to have a gateway that publishes that content as they might be blocked to be accessed for russian users directly. Also it probably needs to be in both Russian and English
This repo is helping no one, merely punishing russian people for something that the state did, not them
