3 years ago (For history) Sean and I chatted offline and agreed to merge this for now to bring it into line with etcd, but we're going to circle back on this after 2.x ships https://github.com/pachyderm/helmchart/issues/138
We just switched away from that actually :)
It got a little complicated to reason about (especially with microsoft which requires changes in a couple places)
