Charts and my likes don't show recently liked old content

By smartliking content I want to increase its visibility for me and others in the charts. But when I smartlike a very old piece it won't be visible anywhere, just the amount increased in the archive. I prefer the implementation in the prototype: When it comes Christmas time and everybody smartlikes "Last Christmas" and "Driving home for Christmas" it is expected that they conquer the weekly charts.

I once contacted a book author asking for his billing info - his content was only available on bittorent. He politely refused, claiming that it wouldn't help him to quit his current job and come back to writing. But he asked me to leave a comment on the bittorent forum so that his very old book pops up and enjoys more visibility, attracts more readers. Karlo's research confirms it.

@vadim-frolov I don't undestand the issue. Channel page content is currently sorted in one of 3 ways:

• sort = amount, period = any -> "amount" field
• sort = amount, period != any -> "amount_h" field
• sort = date -> channel.items order
