5 months ago The CAD for this has been finished but is pending a quick design review that anyone can do (Crescendo -> Robot -> Elevator + Launcher -> Wannabe Elevator). No geo has really been changed between the elevator and this and only non-essential components have been removed.
- The first stage tubes have been cut out and are being marked and drilled
- We're waiting on stock for the base stage tubes (1/8" allum) and are salvaging what we can from the practice elevator
- the CAM for the back brace and pocketed mounts will be done by eod and be machined tomorrow
This is a replacement for the elevator that removes all moving components that we don't need in order to reduce the weight so that we can mount the telescoping arms.
