Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
1. Novatel u679 internet stick connected to either USB port
2. Enable internet over usb (USB Application - Modem)

Expected to be able to connect to bell's cellular service. Don't get connected
or any internet connection. u679's status indicator shows the "network
available but not connected" light.

N56U router, 3.0.3.8-081

No modem type is able to connect. APN is entered correctly (inet.bell.ca).

did you ever manage to get this to work? I have the same router and bell turbo
stick (Novatel U679) and I'm not too sure how exactly to configure it or set it
as my main WAN.

I ended up buying the mofi networks router and using it instead. It's a bit
picky about getting working, but once it get the cellular connection, it is
able to use it properly.
