I solved the issue by unmounting the drive, unplugging and remounting, but now
I'm having an issue that I cannot copy files through windows into the router HDD

I'm also getting this message when I try to delete a torrent, and I believe
it's probably the cause.
Error: Unable to save resume file: Read-only file system
