Create a new CSV export for qualifications #61

Open ozardjw opened 7 years ago

Can you add an export (CSV) for all qualifications with dates and add the PNA member ID? I would then use these to relate to the member export CSV for specific qualification searches.

Here is an example of what I am looking for. These are my qualifications and include my PNA ID, 3, the qualification and date awarded:

PNA ID Id Qualification Printed On Awarded On Created At Updated At Verified 3 281 Foundation Coaching the Mind 10/24/2012 2015-08-19 14:52:54 UTC 2016-01-29 17:56:11 UTC TRUE 3 280 UKCC Level 1 Coach 8/17/2009 2015-08-19 14:51:55 UTC 2016-01-29 17:56:11 UTC TRUE 3 279 Coastal Navigation and Tidal Planning 1/31/2010 2015-08-19 14:50:34 UTC 2016-01-29 17:56:11 UTC TRUE 3 278 4 Star Sea Leader 10/26/2013 2015-08-19 14:48:30 UTC 2016-01-29 17:56:11 UTC TRUE 3 277 3 Star Sea 5/16/2010 2015-08-19 14:47:41 UTC 2016-01-29 17:56:11 UTC TRUE 3 276 3 Star Canoe 8/31/2011 2015-08-19 14:46:18 UTC 2016-01-29 17:56:11 UTC TRUE 3 275 2 Star 8/15/2009 2015-08-19 14:45:22 UTC 2016-01-29 17:56:11 UTC TRUE 3 274 Foundation Safety and Rescue 8/16/2009 2015-08-19 14:43:44 UTC 2016-01-29 17:56:11 UTC TRUE 3 227 UKCC Level 2 Coach 7/1/2015 2/27/2015 2015-07-01 13:28:13 UTC 2016-01-29 17:56:10 UTC TRUE 3 105 Open Water Navigation 3/20/2015 11/7/2014 2015-03-20 01:58:18 UTC 2016-01-29 17:56:09 UTC TRUE

Out of curiosity, what do you mean by "specific qualification searches"? What is it you are trying to accomplish?

We will need to pull data from various queries such as all the FSRT providers, then check the date they were last moderated and the last time they taught a course, same thing for 4 providers, 5, L1, L2, CNTP, OWNTP, etc. Right now all of the qualifications are listed in a single field and dates of the award and update date do not download. We will need this list to contact them by email via a newsletter tailored specifically for a certain message (or phone or mail). This might be needed to let providers know that we have scheduled a moderation event in some geographic location and they are in need of an update or they will not be able to offer a course until they are updated.

I am open to any way you can think to provide this access so we can get a list of folks who need an update to the coaching committee to help plan and carry out update events.

What does "moderated" mean? Also, what is it that tells you that a coach "needs" and update? The date of their last update to the relevant award? Is the timeline always the same? In other words all awards must be updated every year (whatever) or is it more like (say) FSRT needs an update every year but 4* needs to be updated every year?

Moderation - a British term we are all trying to understand!

It is a one or two day program to make sure all providers are teaching the same way, all students are getting the same quality education. Every provider has to be moderated every three years and they must teach at least one course every three years or they will not be considered current.

So, everyone has a different date based on their original certification date or last moderation event. We just held a moderation event in Florida last month. It was for L1 and L2 coach directors and tutors. Three members were updated from this: Scott, Steve Maynard and John Carmody. In addition, one director from Scotland also needed to be moderated and also attended. He was already here to teach at the Sweetwater symposium.

The British Canoeing Director of Coaching came over here to conduct the moderation, which was a one day event, half classroom and half on the water. Probably at least 5 or 6 other PNA educators also are in need of moderation, but could not make this event (e. g . Shawna, Leon, Ginni, etc.).

We will likely offer another event this fall on the west coast. If they don't get moderated here they would likely need to go to the UK for moderation.

Hmm, yes, I think it would be desirable to add a new date field for last moderated date in addition to awarded date. Let me talk with Scott tonight and see what makes the most sense.
