Colophons #41

I saw that in the Mahābhārata file the colophons were just encoded as a <p> , no xml:id attribute. Should I follow that pattern, or wouldn't it be more desirable to somehow mark the colophons?

The Mahābhārata should not be taken as an example. Please discuss on project's redmine forum.
