Bubble of ultra-long events opens outside the timeline

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Create an event with a very long duration (event tape length in pixels
should be at least the double width of the timeline div).
2. Scroll to the beginning of the event, so that nearly all of the event
tape is invisible.
3. Click on the tape to open the bubble.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

The Event Bubble is opened outside the timeline (see screenshot)

What version of the product are you using? On what browser and what
operating system?

Timeline 2.3.1 on Firefox 3.6 (IE 7 in conjunction with earlier timeline
versions shows the same behaviour)
