hi! I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or if it's an known issue but I'm having trouble with getting my monthly images as background. It gives me an option to fill in an image for every month, however when I fill in every month the images mix up and it just picks a random month image as background. I don't know how to fix this. If someone has the same problem or knows how to fix this please let me know.

Hey @lissyb - sorry about that! One thing about the extension is that the background it uses is determined by the current month (i.e. April), rather than the month you're looking at within Calendar. Does the image it's using correspond to the one set for April?

Having a version that changes as you scroll through the months is a future planned feature, but I still have to work out some of the trickier cases (e.g. what to do when you're looking at a week that spans two months, or the year view etc.)

Hi, I just discovered this add-on/extension. I'm using the Brave browser. I noticed this very same problem, referring to how I don't see a specific month's background image when navigating to it, only the current month. I did turn off the Brave shield for both the extension site and Google Calendar.

It seems to me that it has not been solved as of Dec. 10, 2023. Any update?

Hi @CartmansPiehole - I'm glad you found it! You're correct, this hasn't yet been implemented. It's still on the to-do list, but I ran into some issues figuring out which month was being looked at, and there were a few features that needed implementing first. I'm hoping to tackle this next year though, so will keep this issue open until then.
