(Un)Removed "selection" method for dealing damage for players. #45

I am new to this so, if this comment is in the wrong location let me know. In the most recent update I noticed that I can no longer apply damage to characters. I see that it was removed on purpose. (Removed "selection" method for dealing damage for players. #136) I assume there was a conflict with something else, but is there a way to turn it back on or perhaps a fix planned for the future. Thanks.

You can target to apply damage, and if you're the GM you can activate the "selection method" in settings. Check the Instructions journal that comes with the system. Moreover, if a player targets when making a weapon (or spell) attack, or when making a damage (or healing) roll, the target is acquired and the GM (or anyone with "owner" permission to the target actor) can apply the damage.

Thank you, I found the setting. I guess it had become unchecked during the update.

The setting didn't exist before the update. I chose to have it disabled by default to make it easier for new players, knowing the risk that it would confuse some existing players. I'm sorry about that.
