block-text: white-space pre-wrap issue

<a>my <span>word</span> is correctly displayed in editor mode, thanks to pre-wrap. It is displayed without space myword in read mode.

Two ways to fix this:

• set white-space: pre-wrap on text blocks in read mode... probably a bad idea
• an input plugin that adds non-breakable spaces in the "right" places
