Culprit Google

-- Page Speed issues --

If Google creates the errors it should not blame the webmaster in the field.

Page Speed shows a "RED POINT" at:
Combine external JavaScript

There are 5 JavaScript files served from pagead2.googlesyndication.com. They
should be combined into as few files as possible.

How can I combine external JavaScript???

Page Speed shows a "Yellow Triangle "at:
Enable compression

Compressing the following resources with gzip could reduce their transfer size
by 30.8KiB (65% reduction).

    Compressing http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/-snipp-.js could save 30.8KiB (65% reduction).

Page Speed shows a "Yellow Triangle" at:
Leverage browser caching

The following cacheable resources have a short freshness lifetime. Specify an
expiration at least one week in the future for the following resources:

    http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js (1 hour)
    http://edge.quantserve.com/quant.js (1 day)
    http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/abglogo/abg-en-100c-000000.png (1 day)
- snipp-

7 of 8 of the files are sent by, you guess: Big-G

Page Speed shows a "Yellow Triangle" at:
Serve resources from a consistent URL

The following resources have identical contents, but are served from different
URLs. Serve these resources from a consistent URL to save 1 request(s) and 35B.

    http://www.google-analytics.com/__utm.gif?

Page Speed shows a "Yellow Triangle" at: Specify a Vary: Accept-Encoding header

The following publicly cacheable, compressible resources should have a "Vary:
Accept-Encoding" header:

    http://googleads.g.doubleclick.net/pagead/test_domain.js
    http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/expansion_embed.js
    http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/graphics.js

Without this errors my Page Speed test would look much better.

Any suggestions how to avoid this errors mentioned above?

Kind regards

Can someone let us know just out of interest what any of the complications are
in resolving the more simple issues. Could a separate version of the Google
Analytics Javascript be made available that could be cached by a user's browser
for 7 days or more for example?

Seems like this is an old issue which is still unresolved. I'm encountering
errors for scripts from Google and Facebook:

----
Leverage browser caching for the following cacheable resources:
http://connect.facebook.net/en_GB/sdk.js (20 minutes)
https://apis.google.com/js/api.js (30 minutes)
https://apis.google.com/js/platform.js (30 minutes)
https://apis.google.com/js/plusone.js (30 minutes)
https://oauth.googleusercontent.com/…e:rpc:shindig.random:shindig.sha1.js?c=2
(60 minutes)
