Thread here:
http://diydrones.com/forum/topics/can-t-download-my-logs-from-mission-planner-ap
m2-grrrr

Confirmed by 4 users so far. APM2.

Erase the logs with the 'Logs > Erase' command in the CLI.
Fly for a few minutes, connect again and then go to the Terminal tab of Mission
Planner 1.1.40, click Log Download I get this screen:

jGeSRuY4KGunmX3Pq-51zyWK8r0JNv5A__/logsproblem2.gif

Shows no logs to download which clearly there are (see last image).
It then starts showing the text as in the image, by itself, and the amount
"Done" increases incrementally for ever if I let it. It got to 27000+ yesterday
after about 45 minutes!!

The terminal screen shows this:

TUkvL6nCjt8OwuSGxsRgaLS2TnM2z5DA__/logs_download.gif

If I Type "logs" in the CLI I get this:

GSWupZ3iMTmw8ddFAsSXuXj2-IO8OqpQ__/logsproblem3.gif

...showing logs are present.

All these are repeatable every time.

This is happening to me as well, using APM2 with Arducopter 2.4 and Mission
Planner 1.1.40. Same scenario.

I may just make it up, but it seems that the Download Log screen fails to send
3 enter keys to APM2 to bring it into the CLI mode.

I manage to get it working with custom Mission Planner. Problem lies with the
waiting time needed by mission planner before sending 3 new line command.
Mission Planner 1.1.40 wait for 2 seconds before sending 3 new line command. I
guess 2 seconds is not enough for APM2 to boot up and ready to accept command.

I increase the waiting time become 4 seconds and it works.

Fixed in v1.1.41. Thank you very much!

The change for this is done now.

I see that this is supposedly solved, but there seem to be many comments
running around with people who are still having log file problems. I have APM2,
running 2.4, with APM Mission planner version 1.1.97 MAV 1.0. I cannot, for the
life of me, download my log files. The command prompt does not wait for a
keyboard input of 3 enters when it asks for it... Help?!
