all tiles are deleted #186

hi,
1. i've downloaded with the jtieldownloader several tiles and copied in the ... 
Mapnik/... folder.

2. after a short time all tiles are deleted. not the folders.

What is the expected output? 
I want to use the great app with offline maps. the area should be 50km and the 
zoomlevels should be perhaps 8 to 16

What do you see instead?
there are no tiles in the tile folders

What version of the product are you using (See "About" screen)?
0.5.7

Make/model of your device, and Android version?
HTC magic with android 2.2.1

We rely on a 3rd party library for the OSM background called OSMDroid: 
http://code.google.com/p/osmdroid/

OSMTracker doesn't manipulate the tiles directly, so I suggest you have a look 
at OSMDroid and especially their wiki as they have some guidelines to build 
tile packs.
