Incremental translations would be helpful instead of re-translating all files periodically #192

As I see it I have to translate all xml-files again if I want to make an
updated translation for a new version of OSMtracker.

Some software uses online systems for incremental translation meaning that once
a term has been translated, that term won't have to be translated again with
the next update of the software.

It seems a bit wasted to translate all files over again wieh the software adds
minor changes.

Or am I missing something in the translation process?

Hi, we discussed the possibility of using an online system for translations,
see http://code.google.com/p/osmtracker-android/issues/detail?id=189 .

I guess it depends on your tooling and workflow. What I'd do is use a
comparison program to compare either your DA translation with the reference EN
one and see missing lines, or to compare the new EN with a previous one to see
what's differs.

On Linux you can use diff or vimdiff, on Windows there's WinMerge for example.
You can also take advantage of Git to help you tracking down the modifications.

I'm closing this one, if you'd like to discuss alternative options please do so
on #189, thanks !
