High pitched whine (like coil whine) from audio output #139
Hello, i have an issue, the audio output of my mainboard (msi x370 gaming plus) has a permanent high pitched whine on the audio output, i use 5.1 surreound usind 3 jacks. However if i set all jacks by your provided audio panel to audioinput the whine goes away immediately thus i suspect there is communication to the actual hardware.
same if i disaple soundcard in bios, whine goes away.
the problem started after a pc upgrade, however i can assure there are no hardware defects, i tested all components at the audio chipset, inspected with microscope and made sure that there is no demage to tracks, components or solderpoints.
i also tested the capacitors, MLCCs not shorted, Electrolytics not dryed out, resistors are in tollerance
