How to avoid white-labelled Realtek Audio Console #49

First of all, thanks for your efforts on giving people UAD Realtek drivers. I use an MSI B450 Gaming Pro Carbon AC, and even though that the audio hardware is pretty good, the software seems pretty lackluster.

I was able to install Realtek Audio Console from the store using the latest MSI provided drivers (instead of the terrible Nahimic crap). I was hoping for equalizer and an overal better app. Sadly the whole Audio Console is branded by MSI. I was hoping that your UAD drivers would help me get the original Audio Console back.

By now I believe that the Realtek Audio Console will search for MSI motherboards (or ASUS/Gigabyte) and change to a white-labelled version. The Audio Console does contain all the resource files for the brands.

Is there a patch/hack to get the original Realtek Audio Console? I would really like to get a proper integrated equalizer and better UI, this MSI branded version is huge and clunky.

ask AlanFinotty1995.

he also made his own unofficial UAD drivers and may provide you with a solution to changing the Realtek Audio Console UI

There is a leaked Realtek tool that allows you to change advanced settings in the driver, which also works with the UAD drivers.

You could try using it to change the OEM to MSI/Generic.

@BK8000L When I have the time, I'll look for it again (I forget whether I have it bookmarked).
