Dear Tony,
First things first. I really like Legend of Pomodoro. It's a great app that helps my productivity. But using the software I noticed that I'm missing a feature that could in my opinion be very handy and fits right in with the purpose of the software.
Very simple my suggestion is the ability to quickly right something down, like a notepad. With this feature you could quickly type out reminders or whatever text you need for later all in Pomodoro. That way there's no need for pen and paper or a notepad file.
You could make it an item like a journal or a scroll that you buy with tomatoes but I'm sure you'll think of a great way to implement it.
I hope you consider this feature. I would like it very much and perhaps others too :) Keep up the great work!
Kind regards, Noa
Hi Noa,

Thanks for the suggestion! I was considering something similar for Pomodoro, like in-app utilities including calculator, todo list, etc. Didn't mark it priority cause it's less relevant to the core features. But yes, I think it's nice to have such handy gadgets, and a sticky note would be a nice start point. We'll see.

Hi Tony, I meant to comment on steam but apparently I have not reach the spending criteria to comment. Since the only game I bought so far was The Legend of Pomodoro hence reaching out to you via other means. So the issue is : I have been using/playing the game for about a week now, and the last time I checked, my adventure progress was #15/3000, and unlocked quite a bit of stuff already. I didn't login yesterday, and today(6/5) when I open it, the whole data was gone and now I am back at #0/3000.. T_T I just wanna check if the game is designed to be this way or did I trigger some settings? I really enjoy the game and having the villagers to accompany me as I WFH, hence the astonishment when they are gone. Would really appreciate it if you can help me out here. Thank you so much.
Regards, Theresa
Hi Tony I love the GB Basic fantasy console. I am part of the GB Studio community, I understand you have contact with other GB Studio enthusiasts. I am curious to learn how to code and this maybe a good place to start. I will look at the turorials on Basic you recommend and see if I can puzzle it out. Do you know anyone doing youtube tutorials for your console? I am looking at the coding example in the console and it's given me a bit of a leg up. Oh, when the GB Basic compiles a ROM, does it have the checkcode nintendo logo so it will play on the actual console? Anyway, many congratulations so far, if you need any visual assets, for future iterations, let me know. Regards Phil
Hi @bad-dad-games,
Thank you for your appreciation! The GB Studio community is a great place to learn GB related news and resources, I've had a lot of fun there. ROMs compiled by GB BASIC will play on the actual console. That is one of the most important points of being a game development tool targeting a vintage console. For the moment, the reference manual and the built-in examples are the only learning materials for using GB BASIC. In future I'll add some bigger examples (like a simple platformer, top-down, etc) and guide articles. I'm very glad to be a part of the GB brew crowd, though GB BASIC is yet very young and lacking a lot of improvements. It will iterate forward, and I hope we'll see blooming of GB BASIC generated titles.
Best, Tony
