Steno doesn't pop up when you type Steno or even Steno plus a space. It only shows taxon names that begin with Steno. Steno is a perfectly good genus in the database.
This is a much bigger issue. It happens with Homo, and other common prefixes like Paleo. I think the picklist limits how many names it will display, and won't just let you type what you want (just Steno, just Homo) and won't display the long list of things that begin with Paleo.
