I would like to add a field called Annotations or Notes or something like it as an optional field on the Description node. This originated with the dicots quantitative group needing a place to record the location where certain measurements are made on the leaf. For example, specifying the location of the boxes used to measure vein length on the leaf. They have provided a standardized set of terms for the description, but these are not leaf states so do not belong in the Schema. This space can also be used for other purposes in other descriptions.
