Hi @paleolimbot, looks like you're working on this (c59d69f6916799fc74497b596fd717be93130e99), but just wanted to confirm you're planning a new release for CRAN before the 24th. Can you please confirm?

Thanks for the reminder...I did make a submission but it had another problem and I haven't quite gotten to it. In general, I would recommend moving away from prettymapr since a number of actively maintained packages can do many of the things that prettymapr once set out to do.

Okay, happy to do so, but it seems that ggspatial still suggests prettymapr. The two packages I have on CRAN that use ggspatial also require prettymapr for annotation_map_tile(). Any suggestions on how to address? I'd really like to have basemaps without an API key.
