Please consider merging your work with similar plugins #2

I'm repeating myself, but less similar plugins is better for both the users (less confusion) and for the developers (less reinventing of the wheel).

I agree, I'm happy to not have this be a part of the plugin repository if it's confusing. QMS is definitely a better plugin, it tackles more corner cases than my plugin does and is faster. There are better places to put my QGIS programming efforts than maintaining this plugin (rewriting the poorly implemented NTS Data Downloader is in the works), so I'm inclined to agree with you.

Actually I published it, as I believe it could be a stimulus to improve. My suggestion was not to drop it, but rather to discuss with other devs merging forces, and improving other plugins, avter which this one could eventually be deprecated. Thanks.

Thanks, I'll fix some of the bugs that have come up since so that it's at least as stable, if slightly slower than QMS. Cheers!
