It's def. buried on the CAL-ACCESS site and could be scraped.

Another idea would be enrich our candidacy file with IDs from an election results source outside of CAL-ACCESS. This has been discussed in broad terms with @sahilchinoy.

best source of election returns is probably Carl Klarner. his data does not have unique candidate IDs, however.
