To enable send mail from other account than the gmail default account

That won't work properly.  See the changes in the bkennelly clone for a working 
version.  It also properly supports reply-to and bcc, and delivers a copy to 
the your account so it will show in Sent Mail.

This bug is fixed in the new version of Gmail Delay Send which will be released 
soon (closing this now so I can better track which bugs still need to be 
addressed).

For updates on the new version please 'star' this issue:
