This is an important one for me. Please fix it! :)
My suggestions: 
1. Don't stop the timer when the goal time i reached. Just let it roll. Make 
time spent value red or something.

- or -

2. Stop the timer when goal time is reached. and start a second "overlap time" 
timer (or whatever you wanna call it, english is not my native tongue so...)
