What version of Chrome are you using? This shouldn't be happening, and doesn't
happen for me (or for 100,000 other people, it seems >_<).

The version of Chrome I am using is
Version 29.0.1547.76 m and it is up to date. It only happens when I click
on the new "Apps" icon on the toolbar. I think it is working as an
extension at start up and opens up in a new separate tab. I will check
into that to see if I can fix it there. This might just be because I am
virtually computer illiterate.... .[?]

Is this still happening for you?

Yes it is. When I open Chrome the "Thank you" tab opens up. I believe I
have removed the extension but it still does it. I really do love your
app, and I continue to use it and have somewhat accepted the fact that I
have to just close the tab when it opens up, a minor annoyance.
Thanks for following up,
Kim
